LocationQuinta Branca is located 500m from the bustling village of Santa Barbara de Nexe, with a 15th century church, bars, restaurants, bakery with coffee shop, a supermarket and bank and only a 20 minute drive from Faro airport.. The village lies directly north in a slightly elevated position, with views looking south towards the Atlantic coast.Loule is a 10 minute drive to the west which boasts a large market one of the Algarve’s most popular. There are many shops selling pottery and local wares. There are many golf courses within easy reach, Vilamoura, Quinta do lago, and Vale de Lobo plus many more. The islands south of Faro and Olhao can be accessed by ferries, they boost beautiful sandy beaches and fish restaurants. A short drive away is the pretty village of Estoi, with a fanciful Italianate Palacio, with exotic gardens, remains of a Roman Villa, narrow streets, old houses with varied interesting facades a large market and many cafes and bars. Olhao, 20 minutes to the east, an old fishing town, home to a large fish market and fruit and vegetables, many cafes and cobbled streets with shops.
